About 4 Community Trust

What We Do

As a Community Interest Company, we’re a social enterprise that looks to use our assets for the public good. We achieve this by providing support and activities in schools and with the local community. As an organisation we:

Help parents with ‘wrap around childcare’, breakfast and after-school clubs as well as Kidz Zone holiday camps.

Help schools by delivering curriculum enrichment, improve the standards of PE lessons, offer PPA cover including lunchtime clubs and lunchtime playleaders, run breakfast and afterschool clubs as well as Sports and Activity Days.

Finally we help the community by running a range of activities for children aged 4+ including street dance, gymnastics and football, fitness classes for adults including BootyCamp and Boogie Bounce, provide a wide range of party packages and by involving ourselves in national projects regarding diabetes, heart/health education and prevention.

Each member of our staff has a fully-enhanced DBS, safeguarding children certificate and have undergone criminal record checks. Additionally, all of our clubs and camps are registered with OFSTED, which regulates childcare.

Our food handlers have a minimum Level 2 in basic Food Hygiene certificates, ensuring clean and nutritious food is provided whilst our sports coaches have current Emergency First Aid and Paediatric First Aid certificates.

We encourage children to collect learning credits when attending our sessions. Once 100 hours are collected children can attend a graduation at Wolverhampton University.

Our mission is to inspire and develop health and education through innovative and imaginative activities involving sport, music, drama and art.
